Mayor Cooper of Nashville, Mayor Lee Harris of Shelby County, Mayor Tim Kelly of Chattanooga, and Mayor Indya Kincannon of Knoxville are all pushing to remove constitutionally protected rights of all Tennesseans in their recent letter to Gov. Bill Lee and Lt Gov Randy McNally and House Speaker Cameron Sexton.
Gov. Bill Lee has said multiple times previously that he is for Red Flag laws and has urged lawmakers to draft Red Flag laws that he can sign into law.
Lt Gov Randy McNally said in a statement that he is for Red Flag laws.
